Key Stage 3

Under the revised National Curriculum the KS3 programme is called ‘Computing’.

Computing is then subdivided into three principal areas:

  • Computer Science – understanding how our computers work, including programming skills
  • Digital Literacy – ‘end user skills’ – getting the most out of the software installed on our machines
  • E-Safety – being able to use computing devices, including our phones, whilst remaining safe
